History of the Hawk

Dad found a hawk on the road.  The hawk was lying on it's back on the road because it had been hit by a car.  Dad brought the hawk home in the tractor.  He asked me to get a box for it.  Dad placed the hawk in the box.  It was starting to get cold so he brought the hawk inside.

We fed the hawk water with an eye dropper.  The next day Mum fed it meat with a spoon and got clawed.

The hawk became angry in the box so Dad used his welding gloves to put it in the cat cage.

His claws were very, very, very, very sharp.  He was covered in brown feathers.  The feathers underneath his wings were white.  I wouldn't want to get near to his beak.

Sadly, he died the next day.  I helped bury him.
